Grace in the Dark —The Story of Michael

I reached a point where life felt too heavy to carry. My business collapsed, my home fell apart, and I felt like I was failing at everything. I stopped sleeping, stopped eating, and slowly stopped believing there was a way forward.

One night, standing alone and exhausted, a stranger told me, “Don’t give up on yourself.”
It wasn’t dramatic, but it cracked something open in me.

The next morning, I walked into a small church. When I heard, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted” (Psalm 34:18), something inside me finally breathed again.

I prayed the simplest prayer I’ve ever prayed:
“God… help me stand.”

That was the beginning.
Not of perfection — but of healing, step by step.
And today, I can say: He really does lift us out of the darkest places (Psalm 40:2).
